Support

Stuck, or just have a question? Here's how to sort out the most common snags, and how to reach us for anything else.

Getting connected

Make sure your iPhone or iPad and your Mac are on the same Wi‑Fi network — PadLinker can't find your Mac across different networks over Wi‑Fi. A VPN, a guest network, or a router with AP (client) isolation turned on can all block the local discovery PadLinker relies on.

If there's no Wi‑Fi network to share — on a train, in a café or hotel, or with an Ethernet-only Mac — turn Bluetooth on on both devices and allow the Bluetooth permission (iOS: Settings › PadLinker; macOS: System Settings › Privacy & Security › Bluetooth). Confirm the pairing request if one appears.

If your Mac isn't showing up, try turning Wi‑Fi (or Bluetooth) off and on on both devices, or restarting the PadLinker app on your iPhone or iPad and the receiver on your Mac.

Accessibility permission

PadLinker needs the Accessibility permission on your Mac to move the pointer and send keystrokes. Grant it under System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility.

If you reinstall the Mac app or move it, macOS treats it as new and you'll need to re-grant the permission — remove the old PadLinker entry from the list first if it's still there.

Pro purchase and restore

Bought PadLinker Pro and it isn't showing on another iPhone or iPad? Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases. Family Sharing works the same way: once a family organizer owns PadLinker Pro and sharing is turned on, everyone in the family gets it automatically.

Purchases, receipts and refunds are all handled by Apple through the App Store.

Feedback and feature requests

We read everything. Tell us what's missing, or what's behaving oddly on your setup — support@aeaglobalinternational.com reaches a person, not a queue.
